Route Introduction
Jiuzhaigou Valley is a very beautiful place. There are no words that can depict just how radiantly stunning Jiuzhaigou is. Located in Western Sichuan and is 435 kilometers from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, Jiuzhaigou is one of China's first 4A scenic areas. So far, there are four main tourism routes in the Jiuzhaigou Valley, all of which attract both domestic and international tourists.

Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu---Dujiangyan---Wenchuan---Chuanzhu Temple---Jiuzhaigou Valley
We leave Chengdu at 8 am and appreciate the picturesque views and the unique Tibetan culture on our way to Jiuzhaigou Valley. We will have lunch and take a little break at noon. We will probably reach Jiuzhaigou Valley around 6 pm. Then have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2: Jiuzhaigou Valley (Lunch Excluded)
After breakfast we tour Jiuzhaigou Valley. At the entrance we will transfer to a special sight-seeing car. We will visit three valleys in Jiuzhaigou: the Shuzheng Valley, the Rize Valley, and the Zezhawa Valley. After, we will visit the Panda Sea, the Long Sea, the Wucai Pool, the Shuzheng Waterfall, the Tiger Sea, and the Hippo Sea. In order to save time, you are on your own for lunch. You can choose a restaurant for lunch or have a picnic in the valley. In the evening there is a Tibetan style dance party you can enjoy (tickets are 160RMB per person; to be paid individually).

Day 3: Jiuzhaigou Valley---Munigou Valley---Mao County and Sumao County.
After breakfast we will drive to Munigou Valley, which takes about 2 hours. On the way we will stop for a bit of shopping. Munigou scenic area covers over 160 square kilometers, and is 2800m (9180ft) above sea level. In the afternoon, we will head to Mao County for dinner and stay there overnight, with another shopping stop on the way to Mao County.

Day 4: Mao County---Chengdu (Dinner Excluded)
We will start heading back to Chengdu and on the way we will stop in Dujiangyan County. If you would like to visit the Duliangyan Irrigation System, the famous ancient water conservancy project, it is 90 RMB per person (fees to be paid by the individual) to enter. Finally we will go back to Chengdu for an overnight stay. Dinner is on your own.

Day 5: Chengdu---Hailuogou Valley
We leave Chengdu in the morning and head to the Hailuogou Valley. On the way we will cross the Erlang Mountains. Then we will go to the Dadu River, where the largest and deepest valley in China is located. We will hike across the Luding Chain Bridge above the Dadu River (10 RMB per person, to be paid individually). We will reach Moxi County in the evening, where tourists can take a free sight-seeing tour in the county.

Day 6: Hailuogou Valley--- Moxi County
There are three choices for tourists to watch the glacier at Hailougou Valley.
        1. Take a cable car to the fourth camp area and view the glacier. It is expensive but relaxing. (160 RMB per person, fees are paid on your own)
        2. Hike to the glacier, it takes half an hour to an hour. You will walk through the forest, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scene. The disadvantage is that it takes a long time and can be tiring.
        3. You can use a special mode of transportation called "Huagan", by which you can also enjoy the scenery of virgin forest. This is a good choice for the old or sick tourists. The fees are from 20 to 80 RMB, depending on the distance you travel (individuals are responsible for these fees).
In the afternoon we will head to the second camp area and take a SPA there (60 RMB per person, paid on your own). We will then proceed to spend the night at the hotel in Moxi County.

Day 7: Hailuogou Valley---Chengdu
We will have breakfast in Moxi County, and then we drive back to Chengdu. We will pass by Dadu River, Erlang Mountain, and Ya'an County. When we get back to Chengdu, the tour will be over and you will be on your own for dinner.
